Scholarship Program

Committed to watching our young members excel to higher education!

As a community-focused credit union that values excellence and the youth in our communities, each year Excel FCU awards $1,000 scholarship opportunities to three graduating high school students who demonstrate excellence in academics and/or creativity as well as extracurricular, philanthropic, and community involvement activities. Look for application details and requirements here for 2026.

With the many outstanding applications that were received for the 2025 Scholarship three submissions stood out and were were awarded a $1000 scholarship each. Christian Banks, Jada Ferguson and Destiny Mitchell excelled in answering the application video questions creatively and showing superior dedication to their educational and community journeys; particularly in the areas of academics, philanthropy, and community service. We are thrilled to support these students and to seeing what their futures hold.

Details of video essay questions and scholarship rules will be provided no later than January 30, 2026 on this website. Submissions from graduating high school seniors may begin at that time. Applications, referrals, transcripts, Excel account information, etc., accompanying the video essays must be completed in their entirety and upon submission to be considered. We look forward to your participation.
