Excelling in our communities is not something we just talk about – it is something we do. It is a part of our culture and our dedication to having an impact on the communities we serve. We care. We truly believe in the age old credit union foundational philosophy of people helping people and hope to impact the communities we serve and the individuals in those communities.
Here are some of the ways you will see us involved in our communities;
- No Cost financial educational seminars to empower individuals
- Junior Achievement (3DE) mentoring involvement in area high schools to empower a new generation of youth
- Community charity support from food drives and donations to service
- Community Shred Day

- Norcross Neighborhood Cooperative
- Scholarship Program for college-bound graduating high school seniors

Continuing our commitment to community for the third year in a row, Excel will be a corporate sponsor of the Norcross Summer Concert Series. This year we look forward to meeting many more new faces and welcoming our members who come out for this free community event to Thrasher Park in Norcross. The series will kick off this year on May 23rd with exciting music you will want to hear, and we will be there too! Be sure to attend and come by our tent to say hello. Bring your friends, family and neighbors and encourage them to come grow with us and to enjoy a night of entertainment.
