The CU Basic Plan covers 2500+parts and is designed to provide protection at a reasonable cost. It is for the buyer who just needs coverage on the vehicle’s most important and expensive mechanical components – the engine, transmission, cooling system, and drive axle.
The CU Standard Plan covers 3000+ parts, as well as the Steering, Brakes, Air Conditioner, and Front Suspension.
The CU Enhanced Package covers 3200+ parts including everything covered under CU Standard and CU Basic plus Additional Electrical, Cooling, Air Conditioner, Entertainment / Navigation, and Hybrid / Plug-in Electric systems.
The CU Complete Package covers 18,000+ parts is “exclusionary” coverage meaning it covers all breakdowns except what is listed in the contract under the exclusions section. Examples of parts and services not covered are:
Pre-existing conditions or for any part not specifically listed in the schedule of coverage including but not limited to battery and cables, standard transmission clutch assembly, safety restraint systems ( including air bags ), brake rotors and drums, exhaust components, catalytic converters, trim and moldings, convertible tops, wheels / rims, cellular phones, video entertainment equipment, paint, and any component or equipment not installed by the vehicle manufacturer and maintenance services recommended by your vehicle manufacturer.
